Cheddar Cheese Types

cheesecheddar.jpgThis product group includes a full range of cultures for cheddar cheese production to fit the demands of the modern cheese producer. Our mesophilic homofermentative culture range contains strains known particularly for rapid acidification, phage resistance and strong flavour properties.

The culture solutions are available as high-activity blends or as pure mesophiles. In addition to these cultures we offer a range of adjunct cheese ripening cultures designed for flavour specialisation and enhancement.

This range of cultures can be used to produce a variety of hard cheese types such as Cheddar, Cheshire, Monterey Jack and Colby.
